Pompeii is one of the most visited archeological site of Campania Region and it is also UNESCO heritage from 1997 when the city was destroyed by the violent eruption of the Vesuvius. Today in Pompeii you can admire the excavations which include for example: the Civil Forum with the temple of Jupiter, the Basilica, the covered market, the building of Eumachia, the Triangular Forum and the district of the theatres, with the ancient Doric temple and that of lsis, the gymnasium, the large and small theatres and finally the Amphitheatre area.

The second stop of our excursion is a place in Italy that is the perfect union of diverse and sometimes contrasting elements that merge to form a single whole of incomparable beauty, the Amalfi Coast with Amalfi, Positano and Ravello.

Amalfi, Italy’s oldest maritime republic, is set on the coast where the Valle Dei Mulini descends to the sea. The first impression of the city, arriving by land or sea, is that of a quiet seaside resort, with its quaint white houses scattered about the narrow alluvial plain and the surrounding hillsides, periodically taken over by crowds of tourists.

Positano was built around the ancient Benedectine Abbey of S.Vito. It soon became a major maritime power, representing serious cause for concern even to the powerful Republic of Amalfi. Because of its outstandings panoramic position and mild climate, together with its picturesque architecture and the lush surrounding countryside, Positano has became one of the most popular resorts on the Amalfi Coast.

Ravello is the town where the natural beauty and the splendid landscape combine with the peace and enchantment of the precious architectural monuments, the villas and gardens; it is one of the most famous and popular locations on the Amalfi Coast.
