Tour Description
With this special day tour we will drive you in the south of Campania region to visit the Greek Ancient city of Paestum: an important archaeological site.
The tour starts towards the ruins of Paestum originally founded under the name of Poseidonia approximately in the 600 BC from the Greek colonists of Sybaris. Here you will visit the most well-preserved ancient Greek temples: Temple of Hera, Neptune and Ceres dedicated to Athena. Then you will can visit also the Archeological Museum with its archaic Greek sculptures and vases.
The last stop will be at a cheese factory where it is produced the famous buffalo mozzarella entirely made by hands and exclusively with milk. Here you will have a guided tour visiting the stable where are used the most avant-garde techniques of milking to safeguard animal welfare, hygiene and milk quality and finish with a taste of the dairy production.
